Sapporo TV tower is one of the most popular sightseeing places. Some typical pictures of Sapporo are taken from this Tower. The pictures of this website's top page are some of them. When I went there last time, the weather was fine and I could see far. Some aged volunteers were explaining the view including monumental buildings to tourists. Nijo Market
Nijo Market is one of the oldest fish markets in Sapporo, and vegetables, fruits and souvenirs are also available here. Restaurants in this market serve bowls of rice topped with sashimi. I had dinner with my friend who has lived in Sapporo for a long time. He took me to Uoya-Iccho, a seafood restaurant near Clock Tower.
