In my opinion, one of the biggest difficulties of studying Japanese is to know how to use postpositional particles. Some Japanese postpositional particles such as "te","ni","wo" and "ha" are difficult to translate into other languages. It may mean there is no concept which applies to the postpositional particles in some foreign languages. In my experience, the most difficulties of studying a foreign language were in the absence of concept in my native language. For example, w

Rikyu
Rikyu is a noodle restaurant in Shinsapporo. I went to Rikyu a few months ago after coming back from Tokyo because there is a transition at Shinsapporo station from New Chitose airport. I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant because it serves tantanmen noodle. When I went to this restaurant, there was a pair of customers and they were talking seriously. The cook was a young guy. I ordered a tantanmen noodle. After waiting for a while, he served a big bowl to me. I

Sapporo ii-one stadium
Sapporo ii-one stadium is an all-weather indoor sports facility. It was established by local companies in 2011. Basically, it is used for futsal, but it also can be used for other purposes including practices of Yosakoi dance. There used to be a local TV program which broadcasted futsal games played in this facility. I didn’t watch it because it was broadcasted at midnight. The viewers must be futsal freaks. This picture is Tsukisamu River which runs from south to north in Sapporo. This river joins Toyohira River in Shiroishi ward. The name of Tsukisamu originates in Ainu, the language of native people in Hokkaido. Actually, this small river is nothing special and not so famous. Sapporo Olympic
Sapporo Olympic has something to do with 3 numbers of years which are 1940, 1972 and 2026. I will explain the three numbers. Firstly, the Asian first summer Olympic in Sapporo was scheduled for 1940. However, it was canceled due to the war. Secondly, the most famous number is 1972, the year in which Sapporo Olympic Winter Game was held. This was the first Olympic winter game held in Japan and Asia. Although the country which won the medal most was the Soviet Union, Japan won

Sapporo International Art Festival
Sapporo International Art festival (SIAF) is held once every three years by the city of Sapporo. Next time, it will be held from 6 August to 1 October in 2017. This time, the theme of this festival is “What is an art festival?” I want them to think it before its publication. Anyway, this art festival seems to be held with so large scale and many people support it. For example, it will be held in many places including Susukino district, Tanuki-koji mall, Maruyama-area, Moerenu
