Yosakoi Soran Festival
Yosakoi Soran Festival has been held in June since 1992. More than 30,000 participants perform unique folk dances. It has become one of the biggest events and more than 2 million people come to Sapporo every year to observe this festival.
Until last year, I used to watch this performance on local TV program. Thus, I haven’t seen it live. This year, I went to the venue with my camera. It was fine and many people had come.
I was waiting for performers at a corner. They danced several times next to the corner. I found that I had to pay for seats to see it in the vicinity. I didn’t pay for it because I could see it on TV.
